ist ein fünfsätziger Zyklus für die syrische Kurzhalslaute Aoud, bestehend aus

Epilog
Musik kann Trost spenden in Zeiten tiefster Trauer und Musik kann Hoffnung geben wo keine Hoffnung mehr möglich scheint. Musik kann vieles - Kriege, Hass, Gewalt und Zwietracht aber kann sie leider nicht verhindern.
Das Werk Syria, geschrieben im trauervoll und ernsten Maqam Saba entstand 2015 und spricht in fünf Sätzen von verlorener Heimat und vom Leben auf der Flucht.

Music can bring comfort in times of deepest sadness and music can give hope where no hope seems possible. Music can do many things - but unfortunately it cannot prevent wars, hatred, violence and
discord.
The work Syria, written in the mournful, grave maqam Saba emerged in 2015 and speaks in five movements of lost home and life on escape.
