Die Compilation The tree präsentiert ab 1999 sechs Werke für Gitarre, 10-saitige Gitarre und liuto forte. Der Zyklus wurde vom Fotografen Reiner
Metzger in Auftrag gegeben und bezieht sich auf sechs Fotografien aus seinem Fotobuch:

Metzger bat mich, einige seiner Werke anlässlich der Buchpräsentation in Musik zu setzen, und so entstanden kleine Skizzen von Musik über stille Menschen, vergessene Orte, sterbende Natur und
freundliche Momente.

The compilation The tree presents six works for guitar, 10-string guitar and liuto-forte from 1999. The cycle was commissioned by the photographer Reiner Metzger and refers to six photographs from his photo book:

Metzger asked me to set some of his works into music on the occasion of the book presentation, and so small sketches of music came out about silent people, forgotten places, dying nature and friendly moments.
